“I don’t want to be cold… but I don’t want to carry it all, either.”
This was the heartbeat of our April Group Coaching session—a conversation that began with workplace frustrations and expanded into something far deeper:
→ How do we stay compassionate without becoming drained?
→ How do we listen with care, without taking responsibility for someone else’s healing?
→ How do we hold space without holding the weight?
If you’ve ever felt yourself teetering between empathy and exhaustion, this is for you.
When Caring Feels Heavy
Many of us are natural space-holders. Friends, coworkers—even strangers—seem to sense it. They tell us their stories. They trust us with their pain.
But that gift can become a burden.
In this month’s excerpt (watch above), I shared why learning the difference between empathy and compassion changed everything for me.
Empathy entwines us. We feel what others feel. We might even try to “fix” or “absorb” their discomfort.
Compassion connects us—while allowing both people to remain sovereign. It says, I care, but I trust you to hold your path.
This is loving detachment. And for sensitive, intuitive people? It’s essential.
Gentle Reminders for the Space-Holders
If you’ve ever asked, Am I doing enough? Am I doing too much? here’s what helps me:
✨ You are allowed to say no — Energetically, emotionally, or physically. Especially if the connection doesn’t feel mutual or respectful.
✨ Compassion does not mean over-giving — You can witness someone’s pain without becoming entangled in it.
✨ Boundaries are love, too — For yourself and for others. They create clarity and safety.
When the Stories Aren’t Yours to Carry
We also explored something tender: when someone shares a story that doesn’t quite feel true—or feels distorted by trauma.
Here’s what I offered to the group:
When people tell you their trauma, they may not be sharing exact facts.
But they are sharing emotional truth.
Listening from this place—compassionate, yet discerning—allows us to honor the storyteller without losing ourselves in the story.
🌿 For Deeper Healing and Energetic Sovereignty
In our private group, we used Heart Metta™ to gently release the imprints of over-responsibility and return to self-trust. That portion of our work remains sacred—but this kind of healing and support is available to you too, in two powerful ways.
If this resonates and you’re ready to step deeper into energetic clarity, here’s where you can continue:
→ Group Coaching welcomes you into a monthly rhythm of live healing, reflection, and community. Together, we unpack old patterns, reclaim self-trust, and create the sacred space to soften, release, and grow—while being witnessed and supported.
→ Essential Energy VIP Day is an immersive 1:1 experience designed especially for empaths, intuitives, and sensitive leaders who need to stop absorbing what isn’t theirs. Together, we’ll clear emotional residue, restore your energetic vitality, and anchor lasting practices so you can support others without losing yourself.
Whether you are called to the collective power of Group Coaching or the deep, personal recalibration of Essential Energy, these offerings are here to help you:
✨ Stay open, without becoming over-responsible.
✨ Hold compassion, without carrying others’ burdens.
✨ Lead and love, while remaining deeply rooted in your own energy.
You are allowed to be sensitive and sovereign.
You are allowed to care, without carrying it all.

Your Reflection
Where in your life are you carrying more than you need to?
Where might compassion serve you better than empathy right now?
You are allowed to lay it down.
You are allowed to soften.
You are allowed to simply be.
