I saw a halo around my future husband when we met for our first date. And he did prove to be an incredible person - a year later I went from Poland to the US to study nursing in Philadelphia. This meant long-distance relationship for us. Nobody believed we would make it. I could visit him only during summers and we would write each other long letters twice a week (it was a pre-Internet era). Well, we made it and celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary last year. :)
