Preliminary design by Dana’s Goldsmithing

When I sent out July’s group coaching replay, I mentioned I was about to head to cottage country, to get a ring designed from jewelry from my husband, including my wedding rings. Here’s the design. The purple stones will actually be close in colour to the blue-green alexandrite. When you receive this I’ll be one my way there again, to try on the 3D model and finalize the design. I can’t wait to see it!

We spent 2 weeks in the Republic of Georgia (not the state) in August, meeting with family and touring around the country. I’ll be sending out more postcards from our visit, even though we’re home now. Here’s what you might have missed:

It was a wonderful, fulfilling trip. And I’m glad to be home.

Tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and the 8 beans left to me by the rabbit

This is Canada, so it’s still summer vacation. School starts for my boys next week. My eldest is in his final year and will be applying to university. My middle son will be in Grade 10. And my baby starts Junior High (Grade 6). He’s in a Regional Program (a speciality program in arts and technology) and for the first time, Ontario is funding bussing for Grades 6-8 in Regional Programs.

I allowed him to accept the program he wanted, even though I had no idea how I was going to get him to the other side of the district. I had faith, even when I was failing to find car pool participants, and sure enough, the result was magic.

I am so deeply grateful.

I am also grateful to my young neighbour who tended my garden while I was in Georgia. Look at these gorgeous flowers – all from my garden!

How is your end of summer going? Let me know in the comments. And please share this with anyone you think might be interested in joining our community.

  • What to do when overwhelmed by housework

  • What messiness is

  • The energetics of letting go

  • Setting up an effective system

What was your big takeaway from August’s session?

August’s session was all about energetic overwhelm and how to let go. Join us as a paid subscriber to hear the entire session and participate in next month’s coaching

Here’s an excerpt from the session about the energetics of letting go of our beloved things - I mention Marie Kondo’s The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up (AL):
